Dr. Karwacki provides a broad range of services including evaluation and psychotherapy services to children (ages 5-12), teens, adults, families and couples. She utilizes a blend of cognitive-behavioral techniques, skill building, relationship-strengthening and other clinical and systems approaches in working collaboratively with her clients to develop solutions and to meet identified treatment goals.
Dr. Karwacki specializes in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, effects of trauma experiences, child and teen behavioral and emotional challenges, and parenting and life adjustment issues such as divorce. This includes working with the conditions or symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or impulse control disorders. Dr. Karwacki also has adoption family experience.
Evaluation/Assessment
Dr. Karwacki is a contracted provider of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services. Evaluation services include diagnostic assessments and screeners. Dr. Karwacki also has experience completing Mental Status evaluations for the Disability Determination Bureau.
Education and Training
Dr. Karwacki received her education at the University Of Wisconsin–Whitewater in psychology (BS) and the University of Montana in clinical psychology (Ph.D.). She has been a Licensed Psychologist in Wisconsin since 1991.
